University of Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan has two universities - University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and University of Regina located in Regina. Saskatchewan Institute of Arts, Science and Technology (SIAST) has four campuses in Regina, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert.

Saskatchewan personifies the Canadian prairies and is at the northern end of the Great Plains Region of North American.  It is renowned for its:

The prairie climate has four seasons.  Saskatchewan has a continental climate with significant variation in temperature between night and day, and winter and summer.  Summers are warm with long hours of sunshine and sporadic winds and rainfall.  Winters are cold, snow lasts from December to March.  Spring and fall are transitional periods between winter and summer.  The highest rainfall occurs between April and June.  Heavyweight clothing is required in winter.
